How Your Church Can Help...
We are looking for area churches to partner with us to Serve the Lord by serving those in need. What better way to reach the lost and unsaved by showing the saving grace and love of Christ in action right here in our local communities! Some of the ways that your church can help include:
- Providing ongoing volunteers, financial donations and/or in-kind contributions that will directly assist those in need right here in Metro-Detroit. All skills, levels of experience and support (financial and otherwise) are welcomed and needed. In particular, we ask for your prayerful consideration to support Handyman Ministries as one of your regular missions in your church.
- Spiritually adopt one home and family (annually or on another regular basis) and Handyman Ministries will coordinate the repair and improvement of their home with volunteers from your church.
- Above all, Handyman Ministries seeks the prayer support of yourself and entire church body.
Handyman Ministries is not just a home improvement outreach ministry, but a volunteer ministry that is committed to putting the Gospel message in action. Handyman Ministries gives the body an opportunity to actively reflect the love of Christ and to put their faith into action. By putting our faith into works, we let the love of Christ shine to the world around us - simultaneously blessing the believer and the receiver alike. Handyman Ministries will regularly provide partner churches with updates through newsletters, testimonials, photos and videos of the work being done in the community.
